RATES
Machine Quilting
I charge .02 cents per square inch for all computerized edge-to-edge designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches.
60 x 80 = 4800 x .02 = $96.00
My minimum quilting charge is $35. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $35 minimum.
Quilting + Batting + Thread + Shipping
Batting
I use and stock Pellon and Quilter's Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend. If you have a preference of the brand, please let me know.
*If you would prefer a different kind of batting, please provide the batting of your choice with your quilt top.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the yard from queen rolls of batting. Batting is $12/yard.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.
65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @$12/yard = 2 yards, $24.00.

*Any batting not used in your quilt will be returned to you with your quilt top.
Thread
I use exclusively Glide #40 weight thread in my Innova M24 LongArm Machine. I charge $5 for each color of thread used on your quilt.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Oklahoma, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of plastic sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). I will only charge you exact shipping rate. Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
I'm required by the State of Oklahoma to collect an 8.375% sales tax on the batting and thread I supply for your quilt.
Payment
After the work is complete, I will email you an invoice with payment instructions. I accept Visa , Mastercard or money order. If you wish you write a personal check, I will accept that. However, I will wait until the check has cleared your bank before sending your quilt back to you.

I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away.
